History♦The Legend Lodges group was established in 1999 by Peet and Mart Cilliers and Roy Tucker with the aim of introducing South Africans and international business and leisure tourists to the country’s numerous, diverse attractions.The Legend portfolio encompasses the rich diversity of Southern Africa: its people, culture, nature and breathtaking scenery.This dynamic company, featuring safari & country lodges, coastal hotels & lodges, urban & town hotels and cultural villages in South Africa and Mozambique strives to deliver personalised warm and consistently exceptional service, exceeding expectations. Building on its ethos of diversity and making the most of South Africa’s natural attractions by extracting the sprit of Africa from the surroundings and “imprinting it on everything it offers”. ♦ Entabeni Safari Lodges ♦ Entabeni Safari Conservancy, is situated in the World Heritage “Waterberg Biosphere” of the Waterberg region. Less than a three-hour drive north of Johannesburg, this 22 000 ha malaria-free reserve boasts five eco-systems. The upper escarpment offers majestic craggy rock formations and wide open grass plains. This is separated from the lower plateau by 600 metre high cliffs. The lower escarpment is about three degrees warmer and comprises sandy wetlands. Entabeni offers far more than the usual game sightings of the Big Five. Experience scenic helicopter flights, stargazing in the observatory, sunset lake cruises and a variety of game viewing activities.
