→ The Pilanesburg is a great park that has the big 5 and only 2hours 30 minutes from Johannesburg. If we depart early in the morning +- 6h00, we might still find the Leopard on the walk or Lions hunting. We specialise in this park and the Pilanesberg is one of our favourites. In the Pilanesburg you have excellent accommodation ranging from 5 star facilities such as Tshukudu, to 4 star such as Bakabung & Kwa Maritane. The 3 star accommodations called Manyane & Bakgatla are really great and all these facilities share fence line with the Pilanesburg. Manyane & Bakgatla also boast camping facilities and the ablution facilities are kept clean and modern. The cuisine at all these accommodation facilities are 5 star and we at Catz tours & safaris have debated more affordable rates wiyh these facilities. So if you do not have enough time to spend an day or two in the Kruger Park, the Pilanesburg is an excellent destination with many activities such as game walks, balloon safaris, game drives and much more.←
