Whilst Catz Tours & Safaris do not arrange visas, the following information has been provided to assist you in finding out the visa requirements for the passport that you are holding. While every effort is made to keep this information updated, it is subject to change.
All nationals of foreign countries, except those from countries which have reached a visa abolition agreements with Botswana, require a visa for entering Botswana.
Below are the issueing authorities in the Southern Africa region. One should first however, check if there is a Botswana Consulate in your country of residence. This will make the process of applying for a visa a lot simpler: Johannesburg

Office Hours: 07h30 - 12h30 and 13h45 - 16h30 The South African offices will be closed on all SA public holidays as well as 1, 21 and 22 July and 30 September Foreigners from Commonwealth countries are not required to obtain visa for entering Botswana, except in cases where the Minister of Labour and Home Affairs has directed otherwise. Botswana has also signed visa abolition agreements with a number of countries, and their nationals are not required to obtain entry visa. Requirements for visa application: Visitors - Completed immigration supplementary Form D by the applicant (Visa form).
- Letter of support from the host.
- Two passport size photos (identical).
- Fee of P500.00 (around USD 85.00)
- Return visa or residence permit from his/her country of residence.
- Return air ticket.
- Confirmation letter from the country if the person is coming for business purposes
Employment (additional)
- Waiver from Labour and Immigration department.
- Copy of acknowledgment slip for residence permit application.
